Ich bin von den Espresso Röstungen begeistert. Endlich ein Decaf, der im Siebträger nicht sauer wird! Ich trinke seit Monaten nix anderes mehr und koste mich durch alle Sorten und kann ehrlicherweise keine Lieblingssorte nennen, weil alle sehr gut und auch sehr unterschiedlich waren.

Die beiden Cafes waren bis dato die besten Decafs die ich je getrunken habe (den Brew Berry habe ich noch eingefroren). Ich habe bei sämtlichen Röstereien die ich im Laufe der letzten Jahre probiert habe auch deren (einen) Decaf den sie im Angebot hatten gekostet.
Sich auf Decaf zu spezialisieren scheint sich wohl geschmacklich auszuzahlen.
Der Tropic Noir ist schon besser (runder, süßer, die Säure kommt mehr raus, bissi "saftig" finde ich den Tropic) als der Powidl Sip... wobei beide einiges gemeinsam haben.
Ich finde sie funktionieren als Espresso besser... ich trinke aber fast immer Filter. Vielleicht 1-2/Woche starte ich meine Flair Pro 2 an.
Beim Filter-Brew muss man mMn stark in Richtung "Unterextraktion" arbeiten... deutlich gröber malen (die Bohnen scheinen brüchiger... zerdrückt mal eine mit dem Daumen), weniger Temperatur (nicht über 90°C, eher 85°C), wenig Agitation, custom Brew-Water zahlt sich da echt aus, ich empfehle auch die Cafec Abaca+ Filter (ein Mix aus Abaca und normalen Papierfasern) ...mit denen wird bei mir jeder Kaffee besser, ...oder die Cafec T90 Filter.
Wenn ich schon dabei bin... der Decaf wird mit dem Deep 27 Flower Dripper und einer Dosis von 12-13g (bei 200ml output) wunderbar.
Nein... ich werde nicht von Cafec gesponsert.
Dennoch finde ich, dass der Kaffee wie ein typischer Espresso-Roast rüberkommt, was für mich ein kleiner Dämpfer ist.
Nichts desto trotz möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle wiederholen...
"D stands for" hat den leiwondsten Decaf den ich bis dato getrunken habe.

Brew Berry became my absolute favorite all time. It goes also very well with milk or cream! After 2 small packs, I finally ordered my 1kg pack. :)
In the olden days decaffeinated coffee had a bad wrap. It was said that drinking decaf was a bit like kissing your sister. Thankfully those days are long gone! And there's no surer way to convince yourself of that fact than scoring any bag of Miriam's seriously delicious decaf, which she roasts to order and according to your preferred method of preparation (espresso or filter coffee).
Both roasts I ordered are delicious, and they came within a few days of ordering. They were super freshly roasted, in fact, I almost wished they'd been a little less fresh since they need a couple days to rest after roasting! But, that's a good problem to have ;) Thanks for the great coffee!

Wenn ich nicht wüsste, dass es sich um Decaf handelt, würde ich es nicht erahnen. Ich hab die nussige Sorte genommen und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Ich kann meine neue Maschine damit jetzt auch ab 18:00 Uhr verwenden und trotzdem tief und fest schlafen. Vielen Dank!
Brew berry will blow your mind. The taste is simply unique and you have to try it.

I found out about D stands for decaf because of James Hoffman's decaf test and ordered the tasting kit and their regular beans. It was delicious and I'll order again because decaf became a staple in my coffee routine and I can rely on on the fact that roasters here are focused on decaf and decaf only. Decaf is not just an addition to a portfolio, but a sole focus, hence my appreciation.
Ordered some coffee as presents for caffein abstainees in the week before christmas and despite the nearing holidays it was delivered as promised.
The coffee was tasty as expected, especially the Brew Berry!

Some of the best decafs I have ever had. Specialising in roasting decaf and buying very good green coffee definitely pays off. I can taste it in every cup I brew. Looking forward to more new decafs. :)
Oftentimes decaf coffee can be a bit underwhelming and leave something to be desired. NOT IN THIS CASE. I tried 3 different coffees and they were all absolutely excellent. I genuinely recommend this D stands for, I will surely get more coffee soon!
